Analog Sonifiers
Branson Sonifiers® are versatile pieces of laboratory equipment suitable for a wide range of liquid processing applications such as:
- The homogenization / disruption of cells.
- Emulsification
- Acceleration of reactions
- Dispersion
- Fine mixing
- Degasing
Each sonifier unit includes a power supply, converter, and a mechanical probe or horn. The power supply converts electrical power to high frequency mechanical energy, which is then put through the horn, where it is further amplified. (often with specialized accessories)
