SLP Series Sonifiers
The Branson SLP Sonifiers® are versatile pieces of research equipment capable of a broad range of liquid processing applications such as:
- Cell disruption / homogenization
- Emulsification
- Acceleration of reactions
- Dispersion
- Fine mixing
- Degasing
The SLP Series comes complete with a power supply, converter, and a steel probe or horn. The power supply converts electrical power into high frequency mechanical energy. This energy is then applied to the horn, where it is amplified further for use (often with specialized accessories).
Since time is such an important process variable, continuous and pulsed modes are included as well as control over the total experiment time.
